FDA accredited Liners and Fitments Brings Assurances to Peak Customers
Food Safety Assurance for Peak Customers
Peak Packaging is pleased to announce that once again the UK production site has passed the annual audit by the US Food & Drug Administration, to achieve the FDA/IMS food safety certification for IBC liners.
Using liners in IBCs and pallecons for liquid storage and distribution eliminates the need for excessive cleaning and use of detergents.
By using FDA accredited liners, which are designed for direct food contact, customers can be reassured that the hygiene integrity of their product is maintained. Peak is the only liner manufacturer who also produces the liner filling and discharge fitments which are the components in direct contact with the liquid product, reducing the risk of contamination. Using an FDA accredited supplier also supports your own quality and safety systems.
Achieving FDA/IMS accreditation again for both our range of liners and our fitments confirms our commitment to the packaging and processing sector. Peak Packaging delivers 10s of 1,000s of liners a year to manufacturers of liquid food and hygiene products in the UK, and overseas, including the USA, for use in the hygienic transportation and storage of liquid products.
