NEW – Trunk Liners
Peak’s new trunk liners deliver all the features of cube and pillow liners with the additional benefit of filling a container at a distance.
A sleeve of film – a ‘trunk’ – connects the liner to the filling heads. This allows the operator to fill or discharge liquid from a container which is positioned up to 1.6m away. The trunk ensures that the hygienic quality of your product is maintained and the risk of cross contamination is reduced.
Made from 3-ply LLDPe film the trunk liner provides mechanical strength and acts as a barrier against oxygen penetration. It is compatible with most liquid products and can be fitted with a range of filing glands and outlets to suit your process and that of your customer. Trunk liners are designed to withstand temperatures of up to 85 ° C during filling.
As with all Peak products, the trunk liner is subject to our stringent in-house tests. The integrity of the seal is ensured with in-house air-pressure testing of every valve manufactured by Peak and the liner subject to a 1 in 100 test ‘to destruction’. Trunk liners are accredited to BRC, and suitable for direct food contact (FDA/IMS).
Using liners in your bulk containers helps maintain the hygienic quality of your product, and reduces the impact on cost and the environment from cleaning out the containers.
