Peak Packaging Retains US FDA Approval For Direct Food Contact
FDA/IMS approval for IBC liners and in-house manufactured fitments
Peak Packaging is delighted to announce that we have once again retained US FDA/IMS approval.
Peak delivers 1000s of liners annually to manufacturers of liquid food and hygiene products in the UK, and overseas, including USA. We are committed to meeting the requirements of these exacting markets and to eliminating risks introduced by the use of non-accredited materials. Of the ‘bag-in box’ container system the liner and its gland or valve is the component which is in direct contact with the liquid product. The glands and valves used as part of our own range of liners are designed and manufactured in-house and are not sourced externally. This means we can ensure the quality and traceability of each element of our product.
Achieving FDA/IMS accreditation again for both our range of liners and our fitments means we can assure our customers of the reduced risk of contamination of product during the filling and discharging processes.
This achievement is testimony to the hard work and dedication of the team at Peak Packaging and demonstrates our commitment to pushing technology further and providing product of the highest quality.
