Peak Packaging Joins Sedex
Peak Packaging has recently become a member of Sedex – Supplier Ethical Data Exchange – a ‘not for profit membership organisation dedicated to driving improvements in responsible and ethical business practices in global supply chains’.
Sedex is home to one of the largest collaborative platforms for suppliers, buyers, and auditors to store, share and report on information quickly and easily. A number of Peak customers are fellow Sedex members and both parties benefit from the ease of sharing information required for regulatory bodies.
Being a member of Sedex demonstrates Peak’s willingness to share and use information to manage and improve ethical standards within the supply chain on issues such as the environment, health & safety, labour rights and business ethics. Peak has already seen benefits in the business through reduced paperwork and sharing information in a more cost effective way.
